We are seeking a highly skilled Rail Infrastructure Specialist to join our team based out of Narrabri, NSW.

About the Role

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing safety and integrity of the rail network by sustaining the condition of the track infrastructure.

You will complete regular track inspections as per the Technical Maintenance Plan and manage identified defects to ensure timely completion of corrective works.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and maintain rail tracks to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Identify and report any defects or damage to track infrastructure
  • Conduct corrective works to repair or replace damaged track components
  • Work collaboratively with the Routine Maintenance Team to achieve shared goals
  • Operate hi-rail vehicles safely and efficiently

  • Strong communication and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and guidance
  • Ability and willingness to adapt quickly to changing situations and priorities
