About the Role

We are currently seeking a Civil Project Manager to join our Rail Operations hub based in NSW.

Rail Operations is an internal Business Unit within Laing O'Rourke, specialising in the self-delivery of all aspects of rail construction (Track, OHW, Civil & CSR), working with a highly experienced team of technical experts to deliver a high portfolio of work across New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tracking costs and managing subcontractors.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Your skill set will be both in pre-delivery and delivery of major infrastructure projects.
  • You will provide leadership and direction to direct reports as well as interfacing with design management and construction delivery teams.
  • Uphold and promote the highest of Health and Safety standards.

About You

  • You will have experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects in rail & associated infrastructure, ideally having worked in a tier 1 setting. Leadership skills are essential for the role.
  • A degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Civil) or construction management with experience working on the delivery of major infrastructure projects, utility relocations and stakeholder management.
