About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Signalling Project Engineer to join our Rail Operations team in Sydney.
Rail Operations is an internal business unit within Laing O'Rourke, specialising in rail delivery and working closely with technical experts to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cordinate on-site railway signalling construction and installation activities to meet project objectives.
- Manage the signalling design contractor and process.
- Ensure resources, subcontracts, materials, and documentation align with project requirements.
- Review signalling design drawings, reports, and data to ensure correctness.
- Adhere to rail safety assurance processes.
- Provide technical support to Laing O'Rourke rail projects as required.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure rail systems aspect of major infrastructure projects are completed on time, to budget, and to a high standard.
About You
- You will have a relevant engineering degree and significant experience in Rail Signalling on large-scale civil/rail projects, preferably in Australia.
- Rail signalling experience must be clearly reflected on your resume to be considered for this role.
- Valid driving licence & ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening.
- Construction Industry Induction & Rail Industry Worker (RIW).
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per annum
