The Role

We're seeking skilled Rail Labourers for Rail Operations in the Hunter Valley. This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

As a Rail Labourer, your duties may include:

  • Replacing worn and damaged rails, sleepers, and switches.
  • Spotting machinery and mobile plant.
  • Using powered hand tools and equipment.
  • Site clean-up, clearing debris, and manual handling.
  • Maintaining high standards in safety and quality.
About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and within a team.
  • Experience working in the rail construction industry.
  • A valid Construction Induction (White Card) & Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card.
  • A valid Drivers Licence Class 'C' or 'HR'.
  • Ability to pass a CAT3 medical, comprehensive functional, and Drug & Alcohol Screening.
  • Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure required.
Salary and Benefits

Estimated salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
