Job Title: Strategy Director

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic development of our clients, focusing on media upstream and delivering impactful communications strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop actionable communications strategies in collaboration with internal and external agency partners.
  • Provide direction that brings the strategic direction to life in media, ensuring strategic thinking is reflected in tangible campaign outcomes.
  • Drive the core functions of the strategic discipline, including objective and challenge identification, target audience profiling, and comms architecture design.
  • Position yourself as a valued member of the client team, balancing core accountabilities as a specialist resource.
  • Identify local 'big bet briefs' that present opportunities to deploy the DFP strategic process or potential for award-worthy work.
About You:
  • You have a strong understanding of industry and proprietary tools and systems used within dentsu, able to guide junior team members on outcomes they can support.
  • You can integrate and collaborate across an end-to-end response to brief, ensuring the strategic direction is reflected in tangible campaign outcomes.
  • You can foster positive and productive ways of working with agency peers across assigned clients.
  • You can identify and proactively manage engagement from senior team members across the client portfolio.
  • You have an optimistic attitude, able to positively and proactively contribute to the shape of the discipline, team, and agency in a fast-moving industry.
