Customer Service and Support Specialist

At Koch Fertilizer, we are seeking a skilled Customer Service and Support Specialist to join our team. As the first point of contact for customers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all customer inquiries are handled in a timely and professional manner.
The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be proficient in problem-solving, and possess a great ability to build and foster good working relationships with customers. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure seamless delivery of customer service and support.
We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of approximately $60,000 per annum, plus additional benefits such as performance bonuses and opportunities for career advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional telephone and electronic-based customer service
- Facilitate dispatch bookings and resolve customer issues efficiently
- Assist with key projects and system improvements to enhance customer experience
- Monitor terminal capacities and provide regular customer updates
- Maintain accurate records in our CRM database
- Deliver systems training to customers as required
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in a similar field
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce (preferred)
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
