Marketing and Business Development Manager

Ampersand International is seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Business Development Manager to support its Partners and broader legal teams in the development and implementation of profile raising and revenue generating initiatives across the Commonwealth Government sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute innovative thought leadership marketing campaigns to raise the profile of the firm and practice.
  • Project manage events and seminars, including concept creation and execution.
  • Provide strategic and proactive advice on business development and marketing initiatives, including client plans.
  • Lead key client pursuits and support with the preparation of tenders and capability statements.
  • Conduct client research and market analysis to support business development efforts.
  • Participate in undertaking service reviews with clients.
  • Identify partnership and sponsorship opportunities, emerging product and service areas, and work with other stakeholders to pursue these.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional track record in delivering marketing and/or business development initiatives.
  • Strong focus on improving current processes and questioning the status quo to drive brand position and portfolio growth.
  • Commitment to the client and a high degree of energy and gravitas.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a similar capacity in a professional services environment such as legal, accounting, or engineering.
