Business Development Manager
About the Role
As a Business Development Manager at Teradata, you will play a key role in driving growth and expansion across a portfolio of existing and new accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Results and Growth: Order and revenue goal attainment, achieving specific key sales objectives within assigned existing and new accounts.
- Strategic Prospecting and Account Planning: Research prospective organizations to develop value propositions for Teradata solutions, utilize a structured approach to identify and measure potential new business, and map key players in accounts to determine sales strategy.
- Reporting, Administration, and Training: Complete, update, and submit account and opportunity cadence, and build and manage pipeline within Salesforce to meet and exceed reporting standards.
- Account and Opportunity Management: Develop and maintain a Territory Plan for assigned new business territory and an Account Plan for managed prospects in accordance with established templates.
Who You'll Work With
You will work closely with regional and international directors, professional services, managed services, and consulting teams, as well as partners to deploy post-Proof of Concept/Proof of Value and create supporting proposals.
Requirements
- 10+ years of solutions sales or closely relevant experience.
- Experience in selling complex technology solutions, such as ERP solutions and bundled hardware, software, professional services, and technical services.
- Knowledge across business intelligence, data analytics, and AI/ML is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in building, elevating, and nurturing relationships within key prospects resulting in new customer business.

You are customer-focused with an innovative and resourceful mindset, bringing a high degree of energy and initiative, along with being self-motivated and competitively driven. A current AGSVA security clearance is required, with a sensitivity about the data and solutions provided being mandatory.
