We are seeking a Psychology Career Starter to join our team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of clients with psychological or physical injuries, providing rehabilitation support with flexible work options and a strong team culture.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of clients with psychological or physical injuries.
- Complete initial assessments and identify suitable goals.
- Identify barriers preventing clients from returning to work.
- Organize appropriate interventions with stakeholders.
- Provide vocational counselling and conduct vocational assessments.
- Attend medical appointments with clients.
- Complete reports after assessments and meetings.
- Communicate with medical professionals regarding diagnoses and treatment.
- Facilitate a safe and timely graduated return to work.
- Document case notes as part of reporting and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with in-house Board approved supervisors and specialized consultants.
- Participate in regular team activities, social events, and company-wide conferences.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 4th year Psychology Graduate status.
- Associate or Full membership with ASORC as a Rehabilitation Counsellor (Graduates with an honours degree in Psychology are eligible).
- Registration with AHPRA as a Provisional Psychologist or Psychologist.
- A car and valid Driver's license.
- A Police check or willingness to obtain a police check prior to commencement.
- The ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
