Job Role

As a newly qualified psychologist, you will oversee a client portfolio, providing rehabilitation support with flexible work options and a collaborative team culture.

  • Manage a portfolio of clients with psychological or physical injuries.
  • Conduct initial assessments and identify suitable goals.
  • Identify barriers preventing clients from returning to work.
  • Organise appropriate interventions with stakeholders.
  • Provide vocational counselling and conduct vocational assessments.
  • Attend medical appointments with clients.
  • Compile reports after assessments and meetings.
  • Communicate with medical professionals regarding diagnoses and treatment.
  • Facilitate a safe and timely graduated return to work.
  • Document case notes as part of reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with in-house Board-approved supervisors and specialist consultants.
  • Participate in regular team activities, social events, and company-wide conferences.
About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Completion of a 4th-year Psychology Graduate program.
  • Associate or Full membership with ASORC as a Rehabilitation Counsellor (Graduates with an honours degree in Psychology are eligible).
  • Registration with AHPRA as a Provisional Psychologist or Psychologist.
  • A car and valid driver's license.
  • A police check or willingness to obtain a police check prior to commencement.
  • The ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
