Job Description

We are seeking a qualified psychologist to join our team as a New Graduate or Provisional Psychologist. The successful candidate will work with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing rehabilitation support and managing client portfolios with psychological or physical injuries.

The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder relationships, be able to work autonomously and as part of a team, and have excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage client portfolios with psychological or physical injuries.
  • Complete initial assessments and identify suitable goals for clients.
  • Identify barriers preventing clients from returning to work.
  • Organise appropriate interventions with stakeholders.
  • Provide vocational counselling and conduct vocational assessments.
  • Attend medical appointments with clients.
  • Complete reports after assessments and meetings.
  • Communicate effectively with medical professionals.
  • Facilitate a safe and timely graduated return to work for clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A 4th year Psychology Graduate status.
  • Associate or Full membership with ASORC as a Rehabilitation Counsellor.
  • Registration with AHPRA as a Provisional Psychologist or Psychologist.
  • A car and valid driver's license.
  • A police check or willingness to obtain a police check prior to commencement.
