Occupational Rehabilitation Professional

This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of clients with psychological or physical injuries.

  • Job Summary:
  • Provide rehabilitation support to clients with flexible work options and a strong team culture.

About the Role:

  • This is an opportunity for 4th year Psychology Graduates to start their career as a New Graduate or transition into a rehabilitation consultant role.
  • The ideal candidate will have Associate or Full membership with ASORC as a Rehabilitation Counsellor and Registration with AHPRA as a Provisional Psychologist or Psychologist.
  • A valid driver's license and police check are also necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Managing client portfolios with psychological or physical injuries.
  2. Completing initial assessments and identifying suitable goals for each client.
  3. Identifying barriers that prevent clients from returning to work and developing strategies to overcome these challenges.
  4. Organising interventions with stakeholders and ensuring a safe and timely return to work for each client.
  5. Providing vocational counselling and conducting vocational assessments to help clients achieve their goals.
  6. Attending medical appointments with clients to ensure a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
  7. Completing reports after assessments and meetings, including documenting case notes as part of reporting and compliance requirements.
  8. Communicating with medical professionals regarding diagnoses and treatment plans for each client.
  9. Collaborating with in-house Board-approved supervisors and specialised consultants to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
