About the Role

The Director, Enterprise Field Sales will provide leadership and guidance to a dynamic field sales team at Alteryx, Inc. This role is responsible for the development and effectiveness of the sales team in selling Alteryx solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales team to achieve revenue growth across all revenue channels for Alteryx.
  • Develop and execute growth plans, including sales, consulting services, and education services.
  • Coach the sales team on sales methodologies to ensure value is experienced quickly by prospects and customers.
  • Collaborate with sales teams on joint sales calls.
  • Set and review performance and sales goals of the sales team.
  • Work with the sales team to meet KPIs and goals in day-to-day performance, sales, and increased product knowledge.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with the sales team.
  • Recruit and hire staff for the sales team.
  • Direct enterprise sales opportunities, including implementation plans, which involve coordinating internal and/or external professional services.
  • Interpret and adhere to sales policies and advise the sales team on handling these policies.
  • Deliver timely and accurate sales forecasts to management.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of at least three industries and/or market segments.
  • Demonstrate leadership and interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in software sales.
  • 4+ years' experience managing sales teams of 5-7.
  • Proven ability to motivate team members.
  • Success in small/fast-growing company environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully achieving a sales target.
  • Demonstrated understanding of strategic sales techniques in a high transaction environment specifically in the Software industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree.
