**About the Role**

We're seeking a seasoned sales leader to join our team at Alteryx as a Director, Enterprise Field Sales. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for leading a dynamic field sales team and driving revenue growth across all revenue channels for Alteryx.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and execute growth plans, including sales, consulting services, and education services to drive revenue growth.
  • Coach sales teams on company-adopted sales methodologies to ensure value is experienced quickly by prospects and customers.
  • Set and review performance and sales goals of sales teams, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Work with sales teams to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and goals in day-to-day performance, sales, and increased product knowledge.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews to assess team performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Recruit and hire staff to build a high-performing sales team.
  • Direct enterprise sales opportunities, including implementation plans, which involve coordinating internal and/or external professional services.
  • Interpret and adhere to sales policies, advising sales teams on policy handling.
  • Deliver timely and accurate sales forecasts to management.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of at least three industries and/or market segments.
  • Exhibit leadership and interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.

**Requirements**

  • At least 10 years of experience in software sales.
  • 4+ years' experience managing sales teams of 5-7.
  • Proven ability to motivate team members.
  • Success in small/fast-growing company environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully achieving a sales target.
  • Demonstrated understanding of strategic sales techniques in a high transaction environment, specifically in the software industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree.
