About the Role

Adyen is seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager to drive business growth in Australia and New Zealand. This role will be responsible for expanding our presence in the region through the acquisition of new enterprise merchants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of Adyen's products and services, and effectively communicate their value proposition to external audiences.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, establish long-term partnerships, and negotiate and close deals with mid-level to senior executives.
  • Collaboration and Partnership: Work closely with technology leaders, solution providers, and internal teams to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 5 years of prior experience in a sales hunter role selling complex enterprise software, technical infrastructure, or financial services.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the payments field is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills, ability to manage time-sensitive projects with minimal supervision, and a proven track record of deal closure.
  • Network: A relevant business network in Australia and New Zealand is essential.
