The Role

We are currently seeking a Lawyer with 2-3 years PAE to join our Resolution, Recoveries and Disputes team in Melbourne working in a dynamic and cohesive team on a wide range of small business recovery and disputes matters.

You will assist the senior members of the team in varied tasks including:

  • Loan and security reviews
  • Advising on various enforcement and regulatory issues
  • Preparing default notices, demands, pleadings and general correspondence
  • Carriage of defended and undefended claims
  • Conducting research
  • Attending Court

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • 2-3 years PAE
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Committed and intelligent approach to work
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • You will be self-motivated and proactive, with the confidence and ability to communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels, and possess strong organisational, time-management and multi-tasking skills
