Job Summary
Pace Appointments is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement and Contracts Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial unit, you will be responsible for developing and executing category plans and sourcing strategies, leading negotiations, and managing a team of direct reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve business objectives;
- Lead cross-functional teams to negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers;
- Manage a team of procurement professionals to ensure effective contract management and supplier relationship building;
- Provide commercial advice to support business growth and revenue opportunities;
- Develop and negotiate long-term collaborative contracts with suppliers;
- Manage and resolve contractual disputes and claims;
- Monitor and report on procurement metrics and KPIs to inform business decisions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement and contract management, preferably in the mining, resources, aviation, or infrastructure industries;
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and manage high-performing teams;
- Technical expertise in negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship building;
- Ability to work autonomously in a deadline-driven environment with resilience and attention to detail;
- Experience managing enabling services such as lights, camps, security, waste water, and aviation commodities is highly advantageous.
