Procurement Support Officer

Job Summary:
The Procurement Support Officer will be part of an integral team providing high-level internal customer service supporting procurement, purchasing, contracts administration, and invoicing for a leading manufacturer of global brands.
About the Role:
This is a contract role with potential to transition to permanent, offering a competitive salary and a versatile role supporting the entire business. The key functions of the Procurement Support Officer are:
- Manage and coordinate site purchasing and contracts processes
- Raise purchase requests using Ariba
- Process invoices and conduct receipt of goods
- Ensure insurance documents are up to date
- Create contracts, service agreements, and POs for active vendors
Requirements:
We are looking for candidates with experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of the process flow of procurement and purchasing. The ideal candidate will have:
- A certificate or qualification in Supply Chain Management or Procurement
- Experience in a procurement or purchasing role within a manufacturing environment
- Previous exposure to software such as Ariba, Excel, Word, and ERP systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A team-oriented approach to deliver tasks on time and in line with KPIs
