Job Summary:

The Procurement Support Officer will be part of an integral team providing high-level internal customer service supporting procurement, purchasing, contracts administration, and invoicing for a leading manufacturer of global brands.

About the Role:

This is a contract role with potential to transition to permanent, offering a competitive salary and a versatile role supporting the entire business. The key functions of the Procurement Support Officer are:

  • Manage and coordinate site purchasing and contracts processes
  • Raise purchase requests using Ariba
  • Process invoices and conduct receipt of goods
  • Ensure insurance documents are up to date
  • Create contracts, service agreements, and POs for active vendors

Requirements:

We are looking for candidates with experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of the process flow of procurement and purchasing. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A certificate or qualification in Supply Chain Management or Procurement
  • Experience in a procurement or purchasing role within a manufacturing environment
  • Previous exposure to software such as Ariba, Excel, Word, and ERP systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A team-oriented approach to deliver tasks on time and in line with KPIs
