Role Overview:

Concentis is partnering with a world-class, industry-owned company located at the port of Gladstone to source a Contracts Specialist to oversee their contract management and procurement activities across goods and services categories.

About the Role:

  • Provision of input to the development and execution of the commercial business plan.
  • Establish, execute, and maintain annual sourcing plan for goods and service contracts.
  • Provide guidance and assistance with the preparation of work scopes/specifications and tender packages.
  • Lead the analysis and evaluation of tenders and quotations.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions and prepare supply contract recommendations.
  • Administrator and awarding contracts and ensure effective onboarding of contracted service providers.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and service providers.
  • Provide advice and support to the business in relation to legislative and commercial matters.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, procurement or similar discipline.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in procurement, contracts management or similar.
  • Proficient in the use of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, particularly Oracle JDE.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
