Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned hotel professional to join our Front Office team as a Duty Manager.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in managing high-volume hotel operations, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and resolving issues efficiently and effectively.

About the Role:

  • Lead the day-to-day leadership, supervision and management of associates in the Front Office department.
  • Act as a point of escalation for emergency situations.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all room types, the hotel matrix and facilities.
  • Handle client queries and complaints with professionalism, whilst also constructively acting on and communicating feedback.
  • Monitor employee performance, actively coach and train, provide feedback and be involved in regulated check-ins.

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Duty Manager in a high volume hotel operation.
  • Experience working with property management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead by example and motivate the team.
  • A focus on delivering exceptional customer service and resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Unrestricted Australian working rights and availability to work on a rotating roster, including overnight shifts (where needed).
  • A current NSW RSA and First Aid Qualification is desirable.
