Join Our Dental Team as a Front Office Manager

Location: Surry Hills Health Centre (just a 5-minute walk from Central Station).

Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time

Hourly rate: Up to $35 per hour (depending on experience)

We are seeking a highly experienced Dental Front Office Manager to lead the reception team at our busy Surry Hills Health Centre, located just a short 5-minute walk from Central Station.

About The Role

This is a true leadership role - ideal for someone with prior experience managing the front desk operations of a dental practice who is ready to step into a key position in a respected, multi-disciplinary healthcare organisation. What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing and supervising all front desk operations for the dental team
  • Leading a team of receptionists, including rostering, mentoring, performance feedback, and professional development
  • Overseeing the effective scheduling of patient appointments to maximise utilisation
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service delivery to patients and Health Fund members
  • Handling financial reconciliation, reporting, and front-office compliance
  • Driving improvements in front-desk workflows and patient experience
  • Collaborating with the Dental Practice Manager and senior leadership to support practice-wide goals

About you:
  • Has at least 2 years of experience managing the front-of-house of a dental practice
  • Has directly supervised or led a team of dental receptionists
  • Is deeply familiar with dental appointment scheduling, financial reconciliation, and reception protocols
  • Has advanced proficiency in Oasis or similar practice management software
  • Possesses excellent communication skills and a professional, warm manner
  • Has strong organisational skills and can multitask under pressure
  • Understands the importance of both patient care and operational efficiency
