OverviewWe are looking for a Front Office Manager to join our team at Novotel Sydney Darling Square. This role leads the Front Office operations to provide individualized, guest-focused service and supports the hotel's performance targets.
Responsibilities- Management of the hotel Front Office operations to achieve recognition as a market leader in individualized, customer-focused service.
- Fully utilize the Front Office system to ensure accuracy and produce reports to meet operational needs.
- Supervise reservations, arrivals and departures, ensure proper room allocations and smooth check-in/check-out procedures, maintaining a guest-centric approach.
- Manage the Front Office operation with a hands-on approach to maintain high service standards.
- Ensure hotel targets around RPS, NPS, Loyalty and room upselling are met to achieve KPIs.
- Oversee a night audit function in coordination with the Financial Controller to ensure accuracy while keeping a customer focus.
- Recruit, manage, train, develop and inspire the Front Office team at all levels and drive employee engagement.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimise team turnover.
- Relevant experience in a similar role for 18+ months with a proven track record in busy environments.
- Strong leadership with the ability to collaborate with other business leaders.
- A passion for coaching, career development and ongoing skills learning.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Flexibility to work across 7 days a week, including public holidays.
- Full time role with salary listed as $86,900 - $87,100 per year.
