Mirvac Facilities Operations Manager

At Mirvac, we're seeking a seasoned Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our building services.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in facilities management, with a strong administrative and technical background. They'll be able to manage conflicting priorities, negotiate contracts, and maintain high-level customer service standards.

This role involves:

  • Approval of work orders, tax invoice processing, and contract management within delegated authority.
  • Delivery of operational expenditure budget against forecast.
  • Compliance with quality management systems.
  • Maintaining asset registers, preventative maintenance planners, and statutory logs.
  • Managing contractors according to HSE&S policies.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a customer-centric focus. They'll also possess knowledge of HSE&S, DDA, and other risk management regulations.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies to minimize property risks and opportunities.
  2. Acknowledge tenant requests, plan corrective actions, and provide follow-up feedback.
  3. Assist portfolio and property managers with leasing enquiries.
  4. Ensure adherence to company procedures, including HSE system accountabilities.

About the role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced facilities professional to join our team. The estimated salary for this role is $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
