Job Description

As a Facility Manager at Mirvac, you will oversee the maintenance and operation of building services within Assets. Your key responsibilities include:

  1. Approving work orders, processing tax invoices, and managing contracts
  2. Delivering operational expenditure budget against forecast
  3. Ensuring compliance with Mirvac's Quality Management System
  4. Advising Property Managers and Senior Facility Managers on maintenance and operational issues
  5. Maintaining an up-to-date asset register and preventative maintenance planner
  6. Managing contractors in accordance with HSE&S policies and procedures
  7. Monitoring Building Management Control Systems
  8. Physically inspecting plant and equipment
  9. Participating in Operational Healthcheck Proforma
  10. Completing FCR compliance reporting
  11. Responding to information requests from stakeholders
  12. Developing strong relationships with customers
  13. Acknowledging tenant requests and planning corrective actions
  14. Assisting Portfolio and Property Managers with leasing enquiries
  15. Identifying and mitigating property risks and opportunities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years' experience in facilities management
  • Demonstrated experience in a high-volume role with conflicting priorities
  • Understanding of NABER's rating scheme and its major influencers
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiating and enforcing contracts
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of Australian Standards, NCC, HSE, DDA, and other risk management issues
  • Good decision-making, influencing, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • A customer-centric focus with a strong understanding of the local community and trade area
  • Knowledge of HSE&S, DDA, and other risk management regulations
  • Collaborative approach to working with teams and customers
  • Ability to prioritize and have effective time management skills
