As a Facility Manager at Mirvac, you'll be responsible for managing the maintenance and operation of building services within Assets. Your key objectives will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Approval of work orders, tax invoice processing, and contracts within delegated authority
  • Delivery of operational expenditure budget against forecast
  • Compliance with Mirvac's Quality Management System
  • Advising Property Managers and Senior Facility Managers on maintenance and operational issues affecting normal operations
  • Maintaining an up-to-date asset register and preventative maintenance planner
  • Managing contractors in accordance with Mirvac's HSE&S policies and procedures
  • Monitoring the Building Management Control System
  • Inspecting plant and equipment to ensure operational readiness
  • Participating in Operational Healthcheck Proforma with Divisional Managers and onsite Senior Facility Managers
  • Completing FCR compliance reporting within specified timeframes
  • Responding to information requests from Portfolio Managers, Property Management, and asset services teams
  • Developing strong relationships with customers
  • Acknowledging tenant requests and planning corrective actions
  • Assisting Portfolio and Property Managers with leasing enquiries
  • Identifying and reviewing property risks, implementing strategies to mitigate their impact
Your Ideal Candidate
  • At least 5 years' experience in facilities management, preferably with administrative and technical backgrounds
  • Demonstrated experience in high-volume roles with conflicting priorities
  • Familiarity with the NABER's rating scheme and its major influencers
  • Negotiation and contract enforcement skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of Australian Standards, NCC, HSE, DDA, and risk management regulations
  • Decision-making, influencing, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • A customer-centric focus with knowledge of local communities and trade areas
  • HSE&S, DDA, and risk management regulations knowledge
  • Collaborative approach and flexibility with duties and working hours
