The role of Digital Vendor Management Specialist presents an exciting opportunity to join our team and make a meaningful impact. As part of the Digital Workplace Experience, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless management of our vendor portfolio throughout their lifecycle.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leveraging your expertise to develop and oversee the Digital Vendor Management framework, aligning with enterprise standards and collaborating closely with the Group Manager, Digital Workplace Experience, and the Digital Leadership Team (DLT).
  • Providing strategic leadership in the day-to-day management of Digital's critical vendors, working closely with the DLT and Procurement teams for endorsement and escalation purposes.
  • Supporting Procurement and Digital Leadership in strategic negotiations, renewals, and tenders by gathering data and coordinating stakeholders effectively.
  • Elevating operational execution and compliance with Mirvac's Procurement vendor management policies in Digital.
  • Managing the full vendor lifecycle, encompassing onboarding, support, renewals, maintaining a repository of vendors, and assisting with purchase orders.
  • Fostering regular interactions with critical vendors, assessing performance, monitoring KPIs/SLAs, and ensuring compliance, escalating issues to the DLT and Procurement as necessary.
  • Nurturing relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders (e.g., Procurement, Finance), ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and adherence to Mirvac policies and standards.
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities and assisting with invoice reconciliations as required.
  • Staying informed about industry trends and incorporating best practices into vendor management operations.

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge of Information Security principles and practices.
  • A strong understanding of identity, risk management, and audit principles.
  • The ability to guide and influence senior management.
  • Attention to detail and meticulous planning and reporting skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to work in high-pressure situations.
  • A good understanding of ITIL concepts and ITSM toolsets.
  • Highest levels of integrity and confidentiality with a strong results-driven and customer-focused approach.
  • An empathetic nature with a keen sense of customer service and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong strategic thinking and operational skills with the ability to manage multiple vendor relationships simultaneously.
  • A solid understanding of contract negotiation, administration, and vendor performance metrics.
  • A proven track record of optimizing vendor relationships and processes for improved performance and cost savings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with the aptitude to handle relations with both vendors and company executives.
  • Detail-oriented with robust organizational and project management skills.
  • Agility and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic digital business setting.
