Account Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our team in Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated individual to work with a portfolio of State Government customers across Victoria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Increase adoption of cloud services in a defined territory
  • Challenge outdated approaches to IT - utilise internal resources to drive customer outcomes
  • Increase revenue across a portfolio of customers
  • Drive adoption in a defined set of accounts to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline of opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new business
  • Create and articulate a compelling value proposition to customers
  • Analyze sales/metrics data from your accounts to help evolve the strategy
  • Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement - build, develop and then execute on an account and territory strategy
  • Work with partners to manage joint selling opportunities
  • Assist customers in identifying use cases for adoption of cloud services
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in account management and/or business development in the IT industry
  • Experience in enterprise technology and business solutions sales
  • Sales experience with a focus on quota-carrying roles
