Account Manager Federal Job Opportunity

This role is an integral part of a global sales team, driving the adoption of cloud technology worldwide.

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Account Manager to join our Public Sector team in Melbourne, covering a portfolio of Federal customers working on impactful projects involving AI, data, analytics, cloud, and IT modernization.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in account management and/or business development in the IT industry, with sales experience in enterprise technology and business solutions sales.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing a sales pipeline, delivering on account strategies, identifying and building relationships with key decision makers, working with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to create and present compelling solutions that drive great customer outcomes.

  • Increase adoption of cloud services in a defined territory
  • Challenge outdated approaches to IT - Utilize internal resources to drive customer outcomes
  • Increase revenue across a portfolio of customers
  • Drive adoption in a defined set of accounts to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline of opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new business
  • Create and articulate a compelling value proposition to customers
  • Analyze sales/metrics data from your accounts to help evolve the strategy
  • Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement - Build, develop, and then execute on an account and territory strategy
  • Work with partners to manage joint selling opportunities
  • Assist customers in identifying use cases for adoption of cloud services
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
