About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Consultant to join our Safety and Wellbeing Team on a full-time term basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a resourceful individual with significant experience in injury management strategies to contribute to our team's efforts in reducing the financial and human impact of work-related injuries across DCP.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective injury management plans, programs, and strategies that align with our department's strategic priorities.
  • Manage workers' compensation claims efficiently, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and best practices.
  • Represent DCP in legal and compensation matters, negotiating with claimants and their representatives as needed.
About You

To succeed in this position, you will require excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of injury management principles, and knowledge of the Return to Work Act 2014 legislation.

You should be an innovative thinker with the ability to take initiative and develop suitable management strategies. Experience in interpreting reports on return-to-work trends is also essential.
