About the Role

We are seeking a Claims Service Consultant to join our team at Allianz Australia Services Pty Ltd. As a Claims Service Consultant, you will be responsible for providing superior customer service to motor claimants in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the operational processing of claims and ensuring all parties are informed throughout the process
  • Managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, and liaising with 3rd party insurers and other multiple stakeholders
  • Maintaining positive working relationships with external and internal stakeholders via managing expectations and aiming to provide best possible outcomes for your customers
  • Understanding and adhering to all relevant policies and procedures to mitigate risks and compliance issues

About You

  • Experience in a fast-paced customer service or contact- centre role (mandatory)
  • Experience handling insurance claims would be desirable
  • Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands
  • Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communication tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact and influence
