Claims Management Role

We are seeking a skilled Claims Management Specialist to join our team at Allianz Australia Services Pty Ltd. As a Claims Resolution Expert, you will be responsible for managing claims in accordance with our AAL Claims Management Process, ensuring compliance with current legislation and making informed decisions on claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to the AAL Claims Management Process and ensure compliance with current legislation.
  • Maintain knowledge of legislative impacts on claims management and apply this knowledge to decision-making for each claim.
  • Commit to AAL standards to minimize claims leakage and control the cost of claims.
  • Manage expectations and relationships with claimants and stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Build and maintain positive team relationships, tailor communication to client interactions, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal processes.

About You:

  • Demonstrated motor claims management experience is mandatory.
  • Experience in a complex Customer Service environment.
  • Demonstrate specific technical capabilities and competence, meeting AAL's professional progression standards, which may include the submission of a portfolio of evidence (for AAL employees).
  • Able to collaboratively work within a team environment, demonstrating strong planning and organizational skills to manage competing demands.
  • Exhibit the ability to analyse complex information, maintain high attention to detail, and possess excellent communication skills to achieve the best outcomes for AAL.
  • Proactive problem-solver with strong decision-making skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities, adept at balancing understanding, empathy, and compassion with achieving optimal commercial outcomes for ALL.
