Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Pursuits Coordinator to lead end-to-end proposal development and support client growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of tender responses, ensuring compliance, compelling content, and timely delivery.
  • Analyse client specifications and requirements to craft winning responses.
  • Facilitate bid kick-off and review meetings, manage timelines, and approvals.
  • Craft clear and persuasive tender responses in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead post-submission clarifications, support negotiations, and conduct debriefs to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work with marketing professionals to develop tailored client pitch decks, capability statements, and case studies.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify and implement improvements in pursuit coordination, knowledge management, and internal processes.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the proposal content library, ensuring case studies, CVs, and proposal templates are up to date and aligned with our brand and messaging.
  • Create and maintain reusable, professional proposal templates tailored to different solutions and clients.
  • Support senior management in the development of Growth, Client & Pursuit plans.
  • Prepare internal reports and dashboards that track pursuit status, bid outcomes, and performance metrics.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, client priorities, and competitor positioning to support pursuit strategy and planning.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Communications, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5-7 years' experience in a proposals, bids, or business development support role, preferably within the infrastructure, engineering, or professional services sectors.
  • Strong attention to detail with a structured and compliant approach to proposal development.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate proposal inputs and collaborate across diverse teams to meet proposal and submission deadlines.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under time pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience drafting content, editing, and formatting high-quality proposals and presentations.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach and a passion for producing quality work.
  • Ability to work autonomously while also being a strong team player, contributing to a high-performance and supportive culture.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within a fast-paced business development environment.
  • High level of professional integrity and commitment to confidentiality in managing sensitive business information.
