The Job

In this critical position, you will spearhead strategic proposal development that shapes donor-funded programming in the Asia Pacific region.

You will leverage sector expertise and strategic insight to expand Palladium's impact across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify early-stage opportunities, assessing market dynamics and positioning for success.
  • Provide leadership to keep bids on track, ensuring robust strategy and engaging the right team.
  • Design compelling tender strategies, building meaningful relationships with clients, partners, and consultants.
  • Guide proposal preparation, reflecting innovation, quality, and strategic alignment with client needs.
  • Participate in dynamic collaboration workshops shaping proposal direction and deepening understanding of client priorities.
  • Craft compelling narratives and articulate Palladium's unique value proposition.
  • Support bid managers in coordinating critical inputs from legal and compliance to recruitment, costing, and design.
  • Maintain strong relationships with geographic teams to ground proposals in real-world insights and best practices.
  • Oversee capture efforts, ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality delivery.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement in Business Development quality.
Qualifications

Significant experience working with managing contractors or donor clients in international development.

Proven ability to build effective relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds, working in sensitive environments.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; additional regional languages an advantage.

Good interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively in a team, and high attention to detail.

Ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure, strong analytical and conceptual skills to solve problems and develop practical solutions.
