Procurement Specialist for Metro Rail Infrastructure

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Parklife Metro, working on an exciting new metro rail infrastructure project in Greater Western Sydney.
**Salary:** $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
**Job Description**
As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing various procurement site requirements and packages, ensuring that all procurement processes adhere to group policies and procedures, meet project requirements, and process assigned requisitions. You will also prepare bid evaluations, negotiate with suppliers, and formalize agreements.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Source and manage procurement site requirements and packages
- Ensure compliance with group policies and procedures
- Process assigned requisitions
- Prepare bid evaluations and negotiate with suppliers
- Manage supplier relationships and commercial negotiations
- Perform assessments of offers and guarantee technical checks
- Operate in full compliance with project procedures
**Requirements**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience working in the construction industry in a similar role
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects or other suitable projects
- Knowledge and experience with contemporary procurement systems
- Proven planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Sound understanding of NSW Government Procurement Guidelines
