We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Education Professional to join our team at St Clare of Assisi Primary School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to our students.
Job DescriptionThis is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a real difference in the lives of our students. You will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and social growth.
Your primary focus will be on teaching and developing engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. You will also be expected to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and effective educational experience.
Key Responsibilities- Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that fosters academic achievement and social development.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and styles.
- Assess student progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide targeted support.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments, educational research, and best practices in teaching and learning.
- Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching degree.
- Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) and/or Working with Children's Check (WWCC) registrations.
- Teaching Quality Institute (TQI) registration and/or NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation.
- Thorough knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and ability to design effective lesson plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage positively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a professional learning community, adhering to legal, administrative, and professional requirements.
- Demonstrated knowledge of classroom practices and organisational skills to create a supportive and safe learning environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of assessment and reporting strategies to provide timely and effective feedback.
- A competitive salary package estimated at $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
