About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and executing well-planned lessons, developing a stimulating learning environment, and employing effective teaching strategies to implement the curriculum. They will also work collaboratively with the Design and Technology team to develop an engaging and challenging curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and executing well-planned lessons;
- Developing a stimulating learning environment by using a variety of styles and approaches to cater for individual learning needs;
- Employing a variety of effective teaching strategies to successfully implement the curriculum;
- Working collaboratively in the Design and Technology team to develop an engaging and challenging curriculum;
- Ensuring that classrooms are places where technology is seamlessly employed to assist in effective learning;

Selection Criteria
- Ability to maximise student learning through the delivery of high-quality teaching programs;
- Tertiary educational qualifications in Design & Technology;
- Capacity to actively employ technology to assist in effective learning;
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must have commenced or completed Initial Teacher Education (ITE) program;
- Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration;
- Teaching Quality Institute (TQI) accreditation;
Salary
$73,000 - $107,807 per annum, plus superannuation and benefits.
Location
Florey, ACT.
