
Strategic Workplace Relations Advisor

The Workplace Relations Manager is responsible for overseeing industrial matters, including leading collective bargaining negotiations, resolving disputes, conducting benchmarking research and providing expert industrial advice.
Main responsibilities include:
- Leading negotiations in relation to Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBA) for the organization.
- Assisting the organization in resolving industrial disputes.
- BUILDING workplace relations skills and expertise across the People & Culture team and the organization.
- MANAGING and influencing union relationships with officials and delegates.
- SUPPORTING the IR component of transformation projects and tenders.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Workplace Relations, Law or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in the logistics, construction or heavy industries is desirable.
- A flexible approach to achieving tasks and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Effective problem-solving, negotiation, conflict resolution and influencing skills.
