About The Role

As a strategic advisor to leaders and employees, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and sustaining a workplace culture built on trust, inclusion, and collaboration. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing expert guidance to support decision-making and ensure compliance with policy and legislation.
  • Partnering with managers to provide clear direction on employment policies, effectively managing risk and resolving people-related matters.
  • Designing and implementing HR initiatives aligned with the People & Culture strategy, supporting all stages of the employee lifecycle.
  • Developing and facilitating structured learning and development programs for employees and leadership.
  • Leading the planning and delivery of annual internal leadership development programs.
  • Analysing workforce data and feedback to identify trends and advising managers on strategies to enhance performance, productivity, and engagement.
  • Contributing to the development, implementation, and evaluation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with legislative and organisational requirements.
  • Maintaining up-to-date policies, managing injury and illness reporting, and implementing tools for performance appraisal and job evaluation.
Requirements For Success
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Five years' experience working in an HR advisory position in a corporate environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong relationship building skills, and ability to influence across all levels of the business and with external stakeholders.
  • Strong drive, resilience, and ability to work under pressure managing multiple, disparate tasks and projects through to completion to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to take initiative and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management and investigation skills.
