Pulse Staffing - Aboriginal Child Health Care Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aboriginal Child Health Nurse to deliver professional, evidence-based healthcare to children and the community, with a special emphasis on Aboriginal health.

About this role:

  • This is a contract position (6-12 weeks) at an Aboriginal Health Practice located 125km South-West of Alice Springs.
  • The successful candidate will have experience in both practice settings and working with Aboriginal communities.

What we offer:

We provide a competitive salary range of $69,410 - $80,740 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer accommodation and travel expenses covered, allowing you to focus on your work. Our full-time working roster ensures maximum income potential. You'll be supported by a team of experienced professionals, including a female chronic disease nurse, male chronic disease nurse, and a midwife. Additionally, you'll have access to practice cars for work use.

Requirements:

  • You must be a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
  • You should have experience in Aboriginal health and/or rural and remote healthcare.
  • Strong cultural awareness and the ability to work effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities are essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
