Child Health Specialist

This position is a key appointment for the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network, focusing on delivering high-quality paediatric services. The successful candidate will be a senior member of the Medical team, reporting to the Executive Director to Medical Service and Director of Maternal and Child Health.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent will engage in clinical practice, ensuring paediatric and neonate services are delivered to a best practice standard. This includes contributing to paediatric services being provided in an integrated way within the Region and State. The role also involves contributing specific expertise within and external to Port Augusta and northern country Hospitals, and on an intra-state level. The successful candidate will also be involved in quality improvement and organisational accreditation activities.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will have a FRACP and be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia in general paediatrics and child health. The position requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of paediatric services in the region.
