Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Child Mental Health Specialist to join our team in Port Augusta. As a key member of our CAMHS service, you will be responsible for providing clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex child and adolescent mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality clinical services to children and adolescents with mental health issues.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, families, and carers to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in quality improvement activities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A relevant degree or registration/qualification in a related field (e.g., psychology, social work, occupational therapy).
  • Extensive experience working with children and adolescents with mental health issues.
  • Strong clinical skills, including assessment, diagnosis, and intervention planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
