Salary

The base rate for this position ranges from $69,410 to $80,740 per annum, depending on experience. This competitive remuneration package reflects the importance of the role in delivering professional, evidence-based healthcare to children and the community.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse with a passion for Aboriginal health to join our team at an Aboriginal Health Practice located approximately 125km south-west of Alice Springs. As a dedicated and caring professional, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to children and their families, with a special emphasis on Aboriginal health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional, evidence-based healthcare services to children and the community.
  • Work effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, demonstrating strong cultural awareness and understanding.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of healthcare programs that address the unique needs of Aboriginal children and their families.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.Experience working in Aboriginal health and/or rural and remote healthcare environments.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.Cultural awareness and understanding, with the ability to adapt to different cultural contexts.
