About the Role

Tobwabba Aboriginal Corporation Medical Service is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team in Forster, NSW. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality psychological assessments, therapies, and support to individuals and families within the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments using standardised measures to diagnose and evaluate disorders
  • Develop individualised treatment plans and provide therapy tailored to client needs
  • Participate in group programs and case conferences to collaborate on patient care
  • Manage caseloads with clear documentation, tracking progress, and updating treatment plans
  • Attend regular clinical meetings and participate in cultural awareness training
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care
About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a fully registered Psychologist with AHPRA and have Medicare registration. You will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work sensitively in a cross-cultural environment.

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

  • Experience in Child and Adolescent Psychology
  • NSW driver's licence or ability to obtain one
