The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a high-performing sales team, and working closely with the Managing Director and Head of Marketing to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Drive National Sales Growth: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and increase revenue.
- Lead a High-Performing Sales Team: Manage and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve their sales budgets and targets.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with the Managing Director, Finance, Marketing, HR, and Customer Service teams to achieve business objectives.
- Develop and Document Sales Procedures: Create and maintain sales procedures and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Implement Sales KPIs and Performance Reviews: Develop and implement sales KPIs and performance reviews to measure team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist with Sales Budgets and Forecasts: Collaborate with the Managing Director and Finance manager to set and implement sales budgets and forecasts.
- Tertiary or Business-Related Degree: A degree in business or a related field is required.
- Over 10 Years of Sales Experience: A minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in managing a winning sales team.
- Industry Experience: Experience in the fitness industry, sport, leisure, motor vehicle, or recreation industries is highly desirable.
- Product Background: A background in product management, procurement, and supply chain management is an advantage.
