We are seeking a senior leader to drive our human services and programs forward at Metro Assist Limited.

About the Role

The role oversees a diverse portfolio of human services and programs, including settlement and employment initiatives.

Our goal is to help migrants and refugees settle into Australian life through various services and programs.

The role requires navigating complex social service delivery environments. Key responsibilities include leading program teams, ensuring service delivery performance, driving improvements in service practices, establishing strategic partnerships, and engaging in sector development and policy advocacy initiatives.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Community Service Management or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar senior management or executive level role in human services and/or NFP environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of Refugee and Migrant Settlement and Employment Service Sector and funding environment.
  • Extensive people leadership experience and emotional intelligence.
  • Demonstrated ability to build a positive work culture and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
