Senior Human Resources Partner Role Overview

This is a key leadership position responsible for partnering with senior management to develop and implement effective human resources strategies that support the business objectives of our construction materials division.

The Senior HR Partner will provide strategic advice and guidance on all aspects of human resources, including talent management, employee relations, coaching and development, conflict management, organizational development, and training.

  • Develop and implement effective HR policies and practices that align with business objectives.
  • Provide expert HR consultation and advice to senior management and employees.
  • Maintain highly effective stakeholder relationships with business leaders.
  • Support management in interpretation and adherence to industrial instruments, policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Provide relevant HR data and analytics to inform decision-making.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Proven experience in generalist HR roles, including strong performance management and employee relations experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret and apply industrial agreements.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a large, fast-paced, complex, and dynamic organizational environment.
  • High-level coaching skills at both individual and organizational levels.
