Job Title: IT Asset and Access Manager
Location: Remote (Australia)

The Pepperstone Group Limited is seeking an experienced IT Asset and Access Manager to join their team on a 12-month contract. As a key member of the IT department, you will be responsible for leading the upliftment of the company's IT asset management, including application, service, infrastructure, and data portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, maintain, and embed IT asset management processes across the full lifecycle, including selection, procurement, onboarding, integration, support, updating, patching, archiving, and offboarding.
  2. Support tools for effective asset management and record-keeping, ensuring the database is current and continuously updated.
  3. Develop and continuously update a register of assets in use, tracking multiple parameters, including risk assessment based on recorded parameters.
  4. Support access management and access review processes, including end-to-end management of user access provisioning, access control policies, user access reviews, access requests and approvals, management of IAM systems, and ensuring compliance and active engagement in security and incident management processes.
  5. Monitor billing and aid in the payment process to ensure smooth financial operations.
  6. Collaborate with various business departments to identify and procure the best assets for business needs.
  7. Foster effective working relationships with software suppliers and internal departments (security, IT support, cloud engineering) to ensure high-quality and secure services and systems.
  8. Identify functionality improvements in business assets that will improve staff's ability to do their job, including any required business case, trial, or assessment to validate potential value.

About You:

  • 2+ years' experience in asset and access management, business application support, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in database management and data analytics.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks.
  • Understanding of IT budgeting and cost management.
  • Experience with software licensing lifecycle.
  • Experience with IT access management protocols and related security standards.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics to non-technical users.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance regulations.
  • Current and appropriate working rights in Australia.
