At AusNet Services, we are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Asset Inspection and Asset Lifecycle Manager. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about ensuring the operational integrity of electrical assets.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled manager with experience in asset management, operations, or maintenance in the electricity or utility industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electricity transmission and distribution systems, as well as regulatory and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the inspection and assessment of electrical assets to ensure they meet regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Develop and implement inspection protocols for electrical assets, including Electricity Distribution lines, substations, transformers, and other critical infrastructure.
  • Ensure that routine inspections and assessment activities are performed on time and in accordance with standards and policies.
  • Monitor the operational performance of assets and make recommendations for optimizing efficiency, reducing outages, and extending asset life.
Requirements
  • Experience in asset management, operations, or maintenance in the electricity or utility industry.
  • Strong understanding of electricity transmission and distribution systems, as well as regulatory and safety requirements.
  • Proven experience in leading inspection and maintenance programs for large-scale electrical assets.
  • Familiarity with modern inspection techniques, including drones, sensors, and other condition-monitoring technologies.
