About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented asset manager to join our team at CPB Contractors Pty Limited, a leading provider of civil infrastructure construction services. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to manage constructed assets throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an asset management plan for the North East Link Project, including the identification, tracking, and management of constructed assets.
  • Ensure that all constructed assets are properly documented, including their location, condition, and any maintenance or repair activities.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that constructed assets are managed in accordance with project requirements and specifications.
  • Coordinate with various asset owners to ensure that constructed assets are properly prepared for handover at the conclusion of construction.
  • Develop and maintain asset-specific documentation, including asset registers, asset schedules, and asset maintenance plans.
  • Monitor and report on the condition of constructed assets, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for future maintenance or repair activities.
  • Provide training and support to project team members on asset management processes and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in asset management on civil infrastructure construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of asset management principles, processes, and procedures.
  • Experience in managing and documenting constructed assets throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Experience with asset management software such as Maximo or similar.

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
