Your New Role

We are seeking a skilled Asset Management Coordinator to join our team and drive the success of Australian Unity's retirement communities and residential aged care portfolio. In this role, you will be at the centre of our asset management operations, managing essential business tools to ensure smooth and efficient processes.

You will work closely with our National Asset Manager to contribute to strategic projects and initiatives, ensuring top-notch asset management processes. This includes planning, updating, and reviewing asset information, managing maintenance performance, and supporting the development and implementation of CAPEX projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the development and implementation of specifications and planned maintenance programs.
  • Provide training and distribute information for staff to perform duties safely, effectively, and efficiently.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, site-specific contractor meetings to stay up-to-date with building or contractor issues.
  • Arrange audio/video conferences and webinars as required.
  • Participate in and comply with all quality management systems and processes.
  • Develop budgets for planned and unplanned maintenance and capital expenditure.
  • Work with the Finance team to track and report on budgets and expenditure, and assist with budget reforecasting.
  • Liaise with CAFM system users to ensure the system is utilised to its full potential.
  • Work with maintenance officers and contractors to ensure work requests are raised and progress through the workflow system within reasonable timeframes.
About You
  • Prior administrative experience in real estate and/or property organisations is ideal.
  • Experience in the Seniors Living Sector would be highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Property Management Requirements is necessary.
  • Strong document management and record-keeping capabilities are required.
  • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships with various stakeholders, staff, customers, contractors, and suppliers.
